Aims
We aim to provide a safe and stimulating learning environment where the children have access to a variety of experiences, and the opportunity to develop socially. We aim to encourage the child's all round development through play and group activities in preparation for school or nursery.
Objectives
We will achieve this by providing children with a variety of activities to stimulate play and encourage development. The learning environment is split into areas for role play, messy/ creative play, discovery exploring table, table top activities such as construction toys and small world, puzzles, physical play, numeracy area quiet area for books and mark making, in addition to the main play room there is also out door play between 10 and 11.30am when a variety of activities are set up out side to extend the child’s learning experiences further. Children are able to free access between the main play room and the out door area during this time.
Children’s safety is paramount, and Playzone staff endeavour to meet the EYFS Welfare requirements for operating a preschool,
